The Dickie Dee brand revival is currently in an active documentation phase. The 2025 redevelopment initiative, including brand strategy, product concepts, naming, supplier outreach, planning materials, and overall project direction, was led and developed by Joe Kelsey as part of a collaborative effort undertaken earlier this year.
The intellectual property, development work, and strategic materials created during this period were produced through this initiative and form a substantial body of original work associated with the 2025 revival effort.
During the course of this collaboration, certain trademark applications were filed under a separate numbered corporation. These filings do not reflect the structure, expectations, or development work that defined the 2025 revival initiative, nor do they account for the leadership role and intellectual property contributions underlying the project.
As a result, the project has formally transitioned into a documentation and record-building phase. This phase involves the systematic organization of materials that reflect the scope, authorship, and development history of the 2025 Dickie Dee revival, including but not limited to project records, timelines, correspondence, planning materials, intellectual property development, and historical documentation relating to the Dickie Dee brand.
This website serves as the central public record for that documentation process. In due course, it will be updated with selected historical materials, timelines, and project documentation to ensure an accurate and transparent public account of the work undertaken and the origins of the 2025 revival effort.
The trademark applications associated with Dickie Dee remain under examination by the Canadian Intellectual Property Office. As these matters advance through the appropriate procedural stages, further steps will be pursued through the proper CIPO channels.
